Or simply wondered what makes a strong romance? Personally I believe people have overcomplicated the process of building a great relationship. That’s why I have made easier it to 3 vital components that I call all the 3 C’s of a great relationship.
There are two first considerations to proper communication. First is understanding the various persons perspective and that usually requires listening. The second is making sure they will understand your perspective. There is a quote I love for this: « Communication has nothing to do with what you say and everything about what the other person hears. inches Be mindful of what you partner gets from what you are saying.
The second C is Transmission. You must have strong communication (not just talking) if you are going to have a great relationship. Bear in mind two monologue conversations fails to equal a dialog. People think they are communicating once all they are doing is normally talking.
Investment also requires focus. If you start to emotionally connect with people outside your relationship; even though you haven’t cheated; it will continue to destroy your relationship. This includes connections you make internet. I am not talking about having friends outside the bond, that is healthy. A simple test to tell the difference is usually would you want your partner mixed up in conversation? If the answer isn’t an you might want to take a step once again.
This does not require big grand actions all the time. The little things you are doing on a daily basis will make a bigger significant difference than any of the big items you do a few times a year. Just about every morning think of a few compact things you can do that day to create your relationship better.
Just remember only when one side is giving it is a dictatorship not a cooperation. You don’t want to end up having a « parent/child » type relationship. Now you might be thinking that you will start doing all this as soon as partner does. Wrong!
The 3 C’s will only work if both people in the relationship are engaged in all 3 keys. A relationship has two sides and both sides must work at make great relationship. I understand you can not control the other person. Just you can keep them read this article after you are actually done or better yet examine it together and discuss what you think about it. Let’s get started.
The first C is Investment. Both people in a bond must be committed to making it better. So many couples I find are just going through the movements. If you want a great relationship you have to be willing to do something every single day to make the relationship better.
You can’t control anyone else but your self. Start doing these 3 things and chances are you partner will notice. If after having a while things don’t change then you must communicate those three things with them. Just remember to start with yourself. Trust me, you are not perfect and do contribute to the problems within your relationship.
If you get these 3 keys the rest probably will fall into place. If you are missing any one of the 3 C’s your relationship is headed for trouble. Before We tell you what the 3 C’s are I want to address a very important point.
The last C is Compromise. You will never find a perfect mate, as a result stop looking for one. In any relationship there are going to become things your partner wants you don’t and vis versa. Each of those people must learn to give a little here and there.
